Il lago \u00e8 affetto da problemi ecologici e gestionali che hanno portato ad una eccessiva eutrofizzazione delle acque. Tutte le indagini condotte dal 1979 hanno confermato che si tratta di un sistema altamente eutrofico, con oscillazioni anche molto significative da un anno all\u2019altro in termini di concentrazioni di nutrienti, clorofilla a, densit\u00e0 del fitoplancton, e la presenza di specie potenzialmente tossiche.    <\/p>        <p style=\"text-align:center;\">      <img decoding=\"async\"
