La Laguna di Cabras \u00e8 situata nella costa occidentale della Sardegna, nel Golfo di Oristano. Ha una profondit\u00e0 media di 1,6 m, una profondit\u00e0 massima di 3 m e una superficie di circa 23,80 km2 che la rende l\u2019ambiente lagunare pi\u00f9 esteso dell\u2019Isola.La laguna \u00e8 oggetto di un’intensa attivit\u00e0 di pesca e rappresenta un’importante risorsa economica.Le attivit\u00e0 di monitoraggio sono iniziate dopo l’estate del 1999, quando una drammatica crisi ha portato alla morte di tutta la fauna della laguna.Fino al 2009 sono stati svolti campionamenti a cadenza quindicinale o mensile per il plancton e i principali descrittori trofici. La raccolta dati \u00e8 poi ricominciata nel 2016 ed \u00e8 tutt’ora in corso. <\/p>
