Il sito rappresenta uno degli ecosistemi pi\u00f9 diffusi in Valle d\u2019Aosta e nelle Alpi e il bosco \u00e8 caratterizzato dalla predominanza del larice europeo. Nel 2005 sono state avviate delle campagne di monitoraggio per valutare l\u2019impatto dei cambiamenti climatici sulla fenologia delle foreste di larice. Le osservazioni vengono svolte sul campo con un protocollo che \u00e8 stato mantenuto sempre uguale negli anni. Sempre nel 2005 sono iniziate le misurazioni continue della temperatura del suolo e dell\u2019aria, mentre nel 2010 \u00e8 stata installata una torre per il monitoraggio dei flussi di CO2 e tutta la strumentazione meteorologica associata.     <\/p>        <p style=\"text-align:center;\">      <img decoding=\"async\"
