In particolare, sono stati raccolti dati sulla meteorologia, sulla chimica delle precipitazioni dell\u2019aria, dell\u2019acqua, del suolo e di foglie e chiome, sulla microbiologia del suolo, sulla vegetazione, sui licheni, sulla fauna, la flora e sui ectomicorrize e sistema radicale. L\u2019attivit\u00e0 di monitoraggio a lungo termine \u00e8 stata sospesa nel 2010 e al momento viene gestito solamente il monitoraggio della CO2. Dal 1996 vengono misurati i flussi di biossido di carbonio, vapore acqueo ed energia tra atmosfera e foresta, in pratica il \u201crespiro del bosco\u201d.     <\/p>        <p
