Le ricerche svolte nell\u2019area riguardano l\u2019interazione tra inquinamento atmosferico, cambiamenti climatici ed ecosistemi forestali. Le analisi riguardano le condizioni meteorologiche, le deposizioni atmosferiche, le condizioni delle chiome, l\u2019analisi della vegetazione, la fenologia degli alberi, la struttura della foresta, le caratteristiche fisico-chimiche dei suoli, il contenuto chimico delle foglie, i danni da ozono e l\u2019accrescimento degli alberi. Il monitoraggio si \u00e8 svolto continuativamente fino al 2018, quando la pecceta \u00e8 stata distrutta dall\u2019uragano \u201cVaia\u201d, seppellendo anche tutta la strumentazione di ricerca. \u00c8 in corso di valutazione se l\u2019area sia ancora idonea alla ricerca e in quale forma.     <\/p>        <p style=\"text-align:center;\">      <img decoding=\"async\" src=\"\"width=\"640\"
